As followers of Jesus, we are never alone.

Selah. How comforting to know that Jesus is always in the midst of every believer; with an all-encompassing Presence. Where two or three are gathered in His Name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). This is a key Promise to hold fast to when making a crucial decision; and clearly, you are the odd-person out. Faith withstanding, no matter the final outcome; persevere with unwavering assuredness that in the supernatural, Jesus is ultimately the deciding vote.
In the middle of your fiery lion’s-pit experience this may be difficult to grasp; but trust Divine Providence, that God can and will work things out for the good of all those who love Him, and are genuinely seeking His Will. Simply put, those who sincerely love God cannot lose. His Glory will shine forth (Romans 8:28). Be encouraged. If a major life-decision does not appear to be falling in your favor; take heart and know that God’s Purpose for the “deciding vote,” eventually will manifest with clarity beyond your current ability to comprehend.
Ponder a time you were certain God had given you a clear solution to a problem. Emerging from your prayers and fasting, you knew in the depths of your spirit the best plan to resolve a dilemma. However, the ultimate decision required the input of others; and, clearly by a 2:1 margin your vote was not in the pool of the majority. So much seemed to be at stake; yet, no power in the natural, or even supernatural, could deflect the catastrophe. Ultimately, you had to accept the painful reality that the crisis outcome was bigger than you; and, any doors closed or opened would rest purely in the Hand of God (Revelation 3:7-8). In the natural, people might consider your lack of fight in attempt to force the Hand of God a defeat, perhaps even a failure. But know beloved, everything which God allows, and, as importantly, everything God does not allow is for your good and His Glory. Sometimes He has to prove a thing out, so that not only will your faith grow; but, those in your midst will see His Greatness as well. Never yield to the lamentations of 'if only this or if only that' (i.e. If only they would have utilized my plan of action.) Stay forever mindful that Jesus was in the midst; and, ultimately it was His Vote on which the final decision was rendered. Be still. Trust, know, and ne'er forget that He is God (Psalm 46:10).
